Compact engraving machine
The Super Compact 2500 D engraving system has several patented
features to make existing concrete look like brick, tile,
or cobblestone. The precision-machined tool cuts accurate
decorative patterns as a worker operates it from a comfortable
standing position. The engraver package includes an aluminum
center pivot and four sections of connecting bar, a 48
inch straight/linear tracking system consisting of precision-machined
aluminum track, and a linear carriage with 1-inch linear
ball bushings. Engrave-A-Crete also includes a training
manual on engraving techniques and its own Discovery and
Training Seminars.
Also from Engrave-A-Crete, KaleidoCrete offers contractors
a user-friendly method of cutting attractive and innovative
patterns into existing concrete. The system is named after
the word kaleidoscope because of its ability to create
hundreds of patterns infinitely variable in form and color.
These patterns can be used on floors, walls, across ceilings,
and even down steps. To create a pattern, a contractor
sends artwork, photos, or ideas to the company, which then
scans or processes the art through CAD/CAM design software.
A CNC machine cuts the template, which is then sent to
the installer. The installer lays the template on the concrete
and cuts the pattern into the concrete. Templates from
6 inches to 100 feet wide can be produced.
