Shark™ Concrete
Engraver
One of the major components of the
KaleidoCrete™ package
is the
Mochton Stylus Shark Concrete
Engraver.
Precision made of billet aluminum and heat treated alloy
steel, the Shark is air conservative using only 5 to
8 cfm @ 2250 BPM.
The 1.125" diameter driver easily powers
the 64 sharpened and heat treated impactor teeth. These
teeth eat up the concrete and stone aggregate leaving
a detailed cut, up to 6+mm (1/4") inch deep. To
reduce the chances of marring the surface, the
Shark has
strategically placed No-Mar plastic cushions, because
even cautious operators can lay a tool down too hard
and damage the decorative concrete finish. The
Shark weighs
14 pounds.
Barracuda™ Concrete
Engraver
Mid-sized Mochton Stylus “Barracuda” Concrete
Engraver has 29 replaceable
impactors. This mid-sized concrete engraver is great
for cutting deigns that have
fi ne detail. With its specially designed head it can
cut into most small openings.

Wasp™ Concrete
Engraver
When it comes to touching up, removing islands, voids,
and adding extra details to the engraved pattern, the
Mini-Mochton Stylus Wasp Concrete Engraver
is a handy pneumatic tool. The Wasp’s name
comes from its design- it has a single reciprocating
carbide stylus cutter, called a "Stinger".
Deluxe Template Set
KaleidoCrete™ patterns
and templates are precision manufactured from 0.500” or 0.375” thick
HDPE dense plastic panels. HDPE is water proof,
you can wash the templates off and reuse them many times. HDPE is UV stable,
repairable, impact resistant and it will flex over most bumps in the concrete.
KaleidoCrete™ templates have an excellent memory: After you have bent them
over a bump, just lay them flat, they will return to their original shape.
KaleidoCrete™ HDPE templates
are reversible-- you can use both sides to get more life out
of your templates. HDPE templates can be slammed, dragged and dropped with
no worries of harming the concrete. Plastic HDPE templates will not delaminate
or swell and remain stable. The HDPE template that you use today can be reused
again ten years later and the pattern can be repeated exactly. KaleidoCrete™
HDPE templates are lightweight and quiet to work with- Your customers and
their neighbors will never hear you drop one. When an HDPE template wears
out, throw it in the bin, it’s 100% recyclable.
