Engrave-A-Crete’s Super Compact Cobra Wheel Change
Today Chris shows you how to change the wheels on your Super Compact Cobra.
The wheels that we have on the super compact right now are multi-directional wheels. These are for your tracking device, where you can move side-to-side, forward and backward. And then we have our straight-line wheels, for whenever you’re not on the tracking device, and you’re putting those straight lines down track free.
I’ll go ahead and switch the wheels out, and show you a couple of things on them. Take the Allen key, which comes with the machine, and pull the multi-directional wheels off of the bottom.
Now with the multi-directional wheels, they kind of lock together. There’s a little groove in here that’s cut out. And they lock together, so wherever you put them on, they spin freely.
The straight line wheels have bushings. And in both wheels, the bushing sticks out on one side. That needs to go towards the machine on both of them. That way they move freely.
If they’re not moving freely once you’ve tightened them down, then the bushing is in the wrong position. They should be able to run free and smooth. OK we’ve got all four wheels moving freely and now we can do all of our straight-line cutting track fee.
