Barracuda Accessory | Engrave-A-Crete
Chris demonstrates Engrave-A-Crete‘s newest accessory for your KaleidoCrete Barracuda.
This is Engraveacrete‘s newest addition to the concrete pecker. It’s a manly, stand-up concrete pecker, and I’m going to show you how to put it together on your Barracuda today. When you receive your extension, you’ll have the nipple, valve adapter and the extension. When you’re putting these things together, you just want to wrap them with some Teflon tape around each side of the nipple here. Somewhere, in the neighborhood of three wraps just to be on the safe side. We’ll go ahead and wrap both sides while we’re here.
We’ll take our valve adapter, and we’ll go ahead and put it on. We’ll take our extension, screw that on, and then you want to take some wrenches and go ahead and tighten these up all the way.
We are going to take the valve assembly off of our Barracuda, take a wrench, as it is threaded on. You might have to put it in the vise at first to get it started for you.
Inside we have an O-ring. That O-ring can stay there, and we can take our extension, and we can simply thread in our extension. Now we will take our O-ring, and we will stick the O-ring just inside. There is a little lip inside of that, a little recess there.
We will take our valve, we will thread everything back on, and once you get the valve back on, you can virtually turn the valve to where it is the most comfortable for you to use.
Now, of course, sitting here on the table it’s a little tall, but when it’s right down in front of you on concrete, pull the trigger. If you’re standing up, it’ll sit right into the templates with no problem.
Once you have assembled the Barracuda extender, go ahead and hook it up to air. Make sure all the parts and fittings are hooked up correctly and there are no air leaks.
There it is, good to go, my manufactured enhancement for my concrete pecker is ready to be used. For more information, you can contact us at 1-800-884-2114, or you can go to our website, www. Engraveacrete.com/blog. I’m Chris; I’ll see you next time.
